1/24/2008 Going to the snow for a few days My Hubby has decided to go back to work even if he is still handicapped. He certainly can not do the stuff he used to do, but ordering and paperwork and sales.
So he seems more happy and asked me and my neice and nephew to go up to the snow.
WE ARE GOING TO GO UP BY TAHOE THERE IS A KIDS SNOW PARK.... thats where I been before. BOY it is cold.

been watching some great lectures that mazi sent over, keeping me entertained while recovering from flu here in my bed. checking out my mayan calendar sun sign I am a REED , I went out for a bit because I have an important appointment tomorrow and I need to get my bearings some..... took my dog over by the bay, wildlife sanituary and saw for the first time the great horned owl that lives there. the rangers had spoke of if , but was first time I saw it clearly. It just sat on top of a small watershed by the water looking about....pretty far out, I should of had by binnoculars! I have had my nephew constantly this week he is sick with a bad cough and he is three.
Lucky me I have been able to catch a nap in the afternoon with him. I feel like I am having a siesta since I live in a predominately Mexican (seaside historical) small village . The Mariachi band plays across the street at Maria's Resturant once in awhile and they also perform at the little catholic church. I think that is so quaint...... ( but the BAR~B~QUE CONSTANTLY COOKING JUST ACROSS THE STREET is so enticing, the great smells)
I am in a perfect location to sell my art just inside my yard, since hundreds of people flock like the birds here between 11:30 and 2:00 each weekday.
BY THE WAY, YES... there are birds everywhere and I wake to a world of magic each day. How I love my little piece of heaven. I have been enjoying a nature walk each morning with my nephew, the weather has been perfect at 8:30~10:00am you will find us hunting for ladybugs... things little boys like to do. We saw the precious first spring baby geese this week CROSSING THE STREET .... right by the sign I have always wanted to get a picture of to show all of you, DUCK CROSSING it says... and sure enough there was the little family trotting along
 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Me, I am happy and feeling my "OATS"( it's some kind of slang). But, it is true I admit
I feel age. My bones, and body just will not cooperate like they used too. I keep truckin
along.
Between 5:00pm and 6:30pm is my hubby blasting the house out with music, His drumming and singing. The landlord , and neighbor (who is part deaf really) do not seem to mind. I go in my own art studio and computer room and close the door, do my own thing.

Time to move on from Easter Bunny's . . . I have the kids this week, they are not in school it is Easter Vacation. I am going to search for something to do, because the 13 year old... all she wants is to talk on MY SPACE . What to do with a thirteen year old girl? Connecting with her friends is all she wants to do and to look cool, be in the IN crowd. But, isn't there anything else? What interests young adults? (oh, ya that does not cost an arm an leg) . . . .so I am putting on my thinking cap. I MISS PAINTING I MISS TIME FOR MYSELF. . . WHY DO I DO THIS, BECAUSE THERE ARE PROBLEMS IN THEIR FAMILY, AND UNSUPERVISED KIDS IS NOT GOOD, AND A THIRTEEN YEAR OLD SHOULD NOT HAVE THE RESPONCIBLITY OF A THREE YEAR OLD. . . We go to the library up the street or over to the seaside for walks and birdwatching, or just all cuddle up under the covers and watch a movie togather. I been reading a book a day to the three year old.... and the teenager is going to teach me how to cut and paste!!!! (the basics you should know on a computer) lol

There maybe therapy needed or routines needed to be established but I am the only one available for this job... oh boy help me... I can handle the little one... it's the teenager that is the problem, little miss be-independent and additudes , disrespect seems to be an issue and lots of almost going to blows.... yeeks everyones got to bend some to make it work.
